Chocolate Chip Cookies
Crispy edges, gooey centres, and loaded with chocolate chips. The ultimate cookie recipe.

Ingredients (serves 24)
- 2.25 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 225 g Unsalted butter, softened
- 0.75 cups Granulated sugar
- 0.75 cups Packed brown sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 340 g Chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 190°C (fan 170°C). Line two baking trays with parchment paper.

Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Beat butter and both sugars together until pale and fluffy, about 3–4 minutes. Beat in eggs and vanilla.

Fold in the flour mixture until just combined, then stir in the chocolate chips.

Drop heaped tablespoons of dough onto the trays, spaced well apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden but centres still look underdone.

Leave on the tray for 5 minutes (they firm up as they cool) then transfer to a wire rack.
